Instructions

Pre-heat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Beat the eggs with the fresh peanut butter and grated carrot. Bake the batter in the middle rack for 15 to 22 minutes, or until a pick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool completely on a wire rack. Then, decorate it with treats for dogs or more shredded carrots.

A 3-in-1 dog cake made with brown rice, sweet potato, peanut butter and other ingredients is delicious! Brown rice is good for dogs’ stomachs and easy to digest. This cake is perfect for sensitive pups. Make sure you cook the sweet potato well. Otherwise, it won’t mash well and it won’t form into a cake shape.

Ingredients

1 small sweet potato2 tablespoons unsalted peanut butter, split1/3 cup cooked brown Rice

Instructions

Make holes in the sweet potato, then microwave it for 6-8 mins. Flip the potato over at the halfway point. Let cool. Use a spoon or fork to scrape the orange flesh from the sweet potato. Mash it well. A sweet potato can yield approximately 1/2 to 1 cup of mash. Add one tablespoon of peanut butter to the sweet potato mash. Stir in the cooked brown rice. Mix well. Place the mixture onto a plate and shape it into a cake. It will be firm. However, if you let it rest in the fridge for at most 15 minutes, it will become even more firm.

There are a few options. You can substitute peanut butter for almond butter or sunflower oil in any recipe. You can also make a dog-friendly cake without using any nut butter! The recipe only contains three ingredients (and water); it has a fluffy texture that is very similar to the kind you’d eat.

The combination of banana and almond butter makes this a delicious, sweet treat that can be enjoyed by humans as well. If your dogs are willing to share, it is possible! These mini cakes can be eaten as-is, with no frosting. If you do want to add frosting, you can use a little more almond butter or unsweetened Yogurt. Remaining leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

This 3-ingredient dog treat is a hit with dogs. Pumpkin is the star of this show and is a huge hit in dog nutrition. Pumpkin is full of nutrients and fiber, making it a great stomach soothing food. Pumpkin puree is easy to feed your dog. It’s not necessary to add too much sugar. Although this recipe was originally intended for treats, you can make it into a cake by placing it in a pan.

Ingredients

1/2 cup of natural peanut butter 1/2 Cup canned pumpkin puree 3/4 cups oat flour

Instructions

Add the peanut butter, pumpkin puree and toss together in a large bowl. Combine all ingredients well. Mix in the oat flour. Use a spatula or a wooden spoon to stir. As the mixture becomes thick, you may need to continue kneading with your hands. You can also make cookies or flat layers of pancake-like treats by rolling out the dough and cutting out cookie shapes. For crispy dog cookies, bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes.

Frosting Dog Cakes

These recipes are complete with frosting! Human cake frosting should not be used as dog cake frosting. It’s too sweet and high in fat for your dog. Here are some alternatives to add to these cakes.

Nut butters such as peanut butter and almond butterSugar free Greek yogurtMelted bananaPumpkin purée

You can whip up frostings using an electric mixer for a frosting-like texture. You can also steam sweet potatoes and cauliflower. Add the cauliflower and sweet potatoes to a food processor along with some plain unsweetened yogurt. The result will be a fluffy frosting that is just as good as the human version.

Your pup should not be given too much sugar or dairy in their frosting. These ingredients can upset dogs’ stomachs and do not add nutritional value to the cake. You can also garnish the cake with dog-friendly fruits such as blueberries, bananas and strawberries. So do dog biscuits!

You don’t have to make your dog a cake. You can send your dog a delicious treat from The Dog Bakery, and they will ship anywhere in the country. We have the perfect cake for your dog!
